Includes classroom-style seating for all speeches and panels and

banquet seating for Friday and Saturday night dinners and Saturday lunch.

Saturday Registration for Students & Twenty-Somethings

Theater-style seating for all Saturday panels (no meals included.)


      Student and 20-Something Saturday Admission: $50





For admission at the reduced rate, students must present a valid student ID and twenty-somethings, a valid ID. Both students and young people must be sponsored by an HLMC member.

Note that a $25 premium will be added to registration if purchased at the door. Participants are encouraged to register early!

The Double Tree offers FREE shuttle service to nearby Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) and Amtrak’s Linthicum destination.  Upon arrival call the hotel to summon a van.  



        Membership


If you are renewing a membership from 2010, feel free to re-up online.





Prospective members, however, need to acquire a sponsor from the current membership in order to gain entrance to the exclusive HLMC inner sanctum. If you are interested in joining the Club, please contact Paul Gottfried or Richard Spencer.  



Rules and Regulations


Gentlemen will wear coats and ties; ladies, the appropriate equivalent.


Members are reminded to pay their annual dues at the time of registration.


The HL Mencken Club reserves the right to withdraw or deny admission to anyone who seeks to disrupt the conference or whose presence is deemed a nuisance.
